The Weekend

I love my last weekend!!

Me and dear went Tanjung Sepat on last Saturday for lunch. We went to a stall recommended by daddy. The fish congee was yummy! It was Teochew style fish congee. Do you know the difference between Teochew fish congee and Cantonese fish congee? Teochew fish congee is something like a clear soup on rice and thick fish slices. For the Cantonese style fish congee, it will be thick in consistency as the rice will be cooked together with the fish. I am a Teochew Nang, therefore I prefer Teochew style. :)

Noon, we went for a walk at Lover’s Bridge. It was extremely hot as we were just under the sun. However, we got the chance to see this scene. Don’t you think they are awesome people? Being a fisherman is really difficult and risky.

After that, we had a nice Cendol at Banting town. It was an excellent choice to quench my thirst in hot weather. Cool ~~

Last Sunday, we went Jenjarom for lunch after attending the Sunday worship in church. The rojak mee was nice but it was a waste for me as I got no appetite to finish. Then we went ÆON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre. Dear had a haircut in the mall. It was the third time I accompanied him to do a haircut. He looks smarter right now.

4.30 in the afternoon. We were wondering what we can do as our facial booking was at 7pm. At that point of time, we passed by GreenBox and we decided to sing Karaoke all of a sudden. We enjoyed the happy hour and indeed it was a wonderful time for us to relax. If you have ever been to sing karaoke then you will know how much excitement it can be.

8.30pm after the facial treatment, we take a rest at 老油鬼鬼 (Lou Yao Guai Guai). To be frank, I dislike the fried Chinese crullers (Yao Zar Guai) served over there. However the Tau Fu Fa and the porridge were not bad.

Last weekend was awesome! I miss my last weekend ^^

On Your Mark, Get Set, Go

I think this will be my limit. I couldn’t stand for it and finally my tears dropped...

In the past, I will try to walk through everything no matter how tough or how stress for my job. Time flies. I’ve been working in this environment for eleven months. Indeed, I have experienced a lot during my tenure here and I appreciated the opportunity given by the company. However, I'm in a huff right now, perhaps this caused by too much stress. I'm too weak to fight anymore.

Sometimes I would like to reply the employees in a harsh way when they are rude to me. Nevertheless, I failed to do so. I dislike them to take me for granted. I dislike them to yell at me. It is really sad when people put all the blames towards me due to my role as a HR executive. Really innocent!

I was a 100m runner in MSSD during my primary school. I was so nervous when the judge shouting the words "On your mark, get set and go". However when I was almost reach the end point, I can feel the sense of satisfaction and achievement. Therefore, we should take courage and step out.

And now, I have a chance. I have a chance to change. I have a chance to plan for better future. It's time for me to get set and go! To be frank, this is a hard decision but this is the best time for me to take up new challenges. It might be tough as well but I'm ready to go...

I knew It

Tonight was a wonderful night with Steven, who is a great singer! I love his voice... I will be going home in few minutes more. I knew it! I knew it! I knew that I can do it...

This morning woke up with tears. Headache made me feel like dying. A cup of Organic Soya Drink and a simple massage made me feel better. I continued to sleep and woke up again at 12.00pm. I felt much more better but the headache still there. I was wondering why could this happened to me as I slept quite early the night before.

I've got a message from Waye in the afternoon. Asking me if I can sing tonight. I was on the fence as I couldn't decide Yes or No. I asked Gkai to decide for me and surprisingly I listened to him. I think most probably because of me myself wished to do that too! The last decision.... YES...

I was mumbling to myself before the performance. I had a bad headache and bad mood since I woke up this morning. I was wondering if my choice is correct. I ordered a glass of warm water. Calmed down myself by listening to 'Still' while waiting for my partner. I told myself that I can do it. The wind blew gently on my face and that was the moment I realized that I was sitting alone there. How lonely was I.

Time passed. It was 8.22pm. My partner was not arrived yet. At this particular of time, I started to be curious for who is my partner of tonight. I sent a message to Waye and got to know that my partner is actually Steven. I thank God for this partner as I know that he is such a friendly guy. I knew that I can sing with all my hearts as I wanted to sing out loud for all my deepest feelings.

Indeed, singing is the best way to throw all my sadness away. I sang a lot of my favorite songs tonight such as Fly Me To The Moon, Desperado, Loving You, etc. Whenever I hear my own voice coming out from the monitor, I can imagine the picture of my heart. You may find this action is super Narcissism but I like it somehow ^^ I like to listen to my own singing!! :P

I met a girl in the washroom during the short break and she said she loves my voice. I would like to thank her for the compliment as it would be the great encouragement for me. Tonight was a wonderful night with Steven, who is a great singer! I love his voice... I will be going home in few minutes more. I knew it! I knew it! I knew that I can do it...

I'm still alive!

I thank God for I’m still alive. It was the scariest accident ever. I was like sitting in the ‘tea cup’ at Genting Outdoor Theme Park when my car lost controlled. I was trembled with fear and my mind was blank. It happened at 8.40am while I was on the way to work. When I just passed by Olak Lempit, I heard a voice asking me to be careful. I felt so uneasy and therefore I slowed down my car. However, I still got into an accident. Fortunately I didn’t knock anything other than the divider by the roadside. I really thank God as usually there will be a lot of vehicles driving on that road but when my car lost controlled, there were no car passed by or followed after me. When my car stopped spinning, my hands and legs were shuddering. However, I can be able to calm down myself after one minute and called my dad for help. Through this accident, I realized how precious of my life. I couldn't imagine if I just gone to heaven in that accident. Yesterday, I can be able to attend friend's wedding. Today, I can be able to attend Sunday Worship and now I can able to listen Gkai's singing. I wanna give thanks to You my dear Lord... Just simply because I'm still alive!

The New Me in the New Year!

Yesterday I went to IOI Mall for a movie named Season of The Witch. I wonder why I felt sleepy in the cinema. Perhaps it was the post-reaction of body massage. LOL… Yesterday body massage was great!I had been busy since I graduated from university. My mind sent me an alarm alert. I know that my body was asking for rest. However, no extra time for me to do so as weekdays busy for works and weekends busy for church. I thank God for I can be able to stand the tiredness. And now, I thank God for giving me a wonderful New Year gift! I will be converted to permanent staff on 1st of Feb 2011. I couldn’t express my feelings by words but I feel thankful for what He had done for me.

I couldn’t imagine I’m 23 years old right now! I remembered what was my mom’s reaction when she was asking me about my age in the car few days ago. Oh, how time flies??!! I’m now in the working life. I tend to be over stress when I face something which I can’t stand for. However, this is the place which I experienced and encountered God the most. He gives me the love from family, the love from colleagues, and the love from friends. Without these angels by my side, I think I will tender another resignation letter and walk away from the current role! LOL… Everything goes smoothly is the best blessing to me and this is what I hope for in my future life. I’m tiring but I’m happy because I can be able to adapt into the new working environment! Guess what? I always walk to the washroom and smile in front of the mirror when I feel tired. And amazingly, it works for me… Hehehe… But make sure you do this when nobody by your side because it will be embarrassed when others see this. ( I did it before and it was super embarrassing!)

This is the new me in the new year. I will smile more and more and do the best in my current role. Today is great! Tonight will be greater!! Hehehe ^^

Mommy don’t want to talk with me again =( I wish that I can be the one she likes. Due to my laziness and dirtiness, my parents argued with each other just now! I felt a rush of self loathing when daddy came into my room and said, “ Xin ah, please keep your room clean and tidy all the time, wash your clothes by hands after work. Please do this just for me. I don’t want to argue with your mom because of you again.” Oh, I was so ashamed because daddy was begging me to do so. Later on, Dajie sms me regarding on this as well. She said, " Please take care of yourself and parents. You're the only one at home now. Mom angry because you didn't keep the room clean. Please clean your room!" Haiz, I wish to find a hole to hide myself up! Seriously hate myself for didn't take care of this home well. Sometimes, I wonder is my mom too squeamish, or I am too dirty! Aiks...To keep the house clean and tidy is my responsibility. However I failed to do it. Compare to both of my sisters, I am the worst and I am the one who always make my mom angry and sad! Therefore, I've made a promise to myself to fulfill my mom's requirements.

Vacuum and mop the house every Saturday morning
Put back the things to the original place after using
Fold the clothes whenever there are clothes to fold

Don't ever think that it's easy to follow and do. I've tried before but habits really hard to change! Nonetheless, this afternoon I had my lunch with the HR team, my boss told me that if you think you can do it, you can do it. It's all depends to your mindset. Hence, I'm gonna start from today. Change my laziness to diligence. Change my dirtiness to cleanliness!!

Why do I need a change?

“Come on, stop pondering stupid things larh!” A girl shouted to herself. It was a terrible night because the girl couldn’t fall asleep but kept pondering about some nonsense. She was pondering about the bad things that happened on her due to her blurriness. Hence, the more she pondered about it, the harder for her to sleep.

Can you imagine? One evening, while she was on her way to Old Klang Road from Cyberjaya, she caught by a traffic police. She got a summon because she drove through a red light and she was on the phone while driving. Although she broke the rules because she was dizzy and couldn't see the colour of the traffic light, she still need to be responsible on her misdoing. On the next day, she left her car key at the shopping mall counter. However, she managed to get it back. Then, she knocked her head while entering her car. After that, she lost her way while she was on the way to a friend’s house. Moreover, she left her phone in the car and this caused her parents couldn’t get her. All these things happened due to her blurriness. Yet, she persuaded herself that she was just too exhausted. She didn't want to admit that she is a blur person because she doesn’t want to make a change on this bad habit. Nonetheless, when these bad things kept on happening on her, she started to ponder about it.

In a nutshell, people can turn to be a better person but their mindset causes them to fail. They would like to key in this question ‘Why do I need a change?’ in their mind. Guess what, this simple question will stop them to become a better one. Isn’t it ‘powerful’? LOL… Before I end this post, I’ve something to declare. I’m the girl in the story above. Kakakakakaka…. Good day!!

God is awesome! He is the best listener in my life! He answered my prayer through the speaker in the family camp. The day before the camp, I was struggling whether to choose my job or family camp. However, everything is in His plan. He arranged me to join the family camp and I’ve learned a lot of things through the theme talks. On the second day in the camp, I’ve made my mind to resign. Hence, once I back to Public Bank on Wednesday, I straight away submitted my resignation letter and it was my last day in Public Bank. However, thank God because I got a new job in Fujitsu on the next day. I experienced the power of prayer. It was so amazing! We shall commit everything unto His hand where He will answer us according to His time and plan. Let us hold steadfast to this amazing gift of God, for we will find true comfort in it.

Erm, is it necessary for every girl to be happy when receiving a bouquet of flowers from someone? I did experienced happiness when I received a bouquet of flowers on my birthday. I felt the presence of intense comfort and love at that moment. Indeed, it was a sweet thing from a guy to a girl or we can simply call it as ‘romantic’. However, the bouquet flowers couldn’t last long. I don’t like to see withered flower. Therefore, I would like to receive potted flower rather than flower bouquet. Nonetheless, there are exclusions such as convocation, wedding, ceremony, etc. because all these occasions need flowers bouquet! Just to remind all my loved ones, my convocation is coming soon oh!! LOL...

I went Putrajaya for Flower & Garden Festival 2010 yesterday with Chocoman and Chocoman’s daddy. It was a flower and garden showcase which could attracts thousands of tourists to visit. To be honest, the flowers over there didn’t look as nice as I expected. Therefore, I will not bring my mom there as I promised to her! Hahaha… Although the flower and garden showcase was under my expectation, I would like to thank Chocoman’s daddy for the pictures still. I like them very much :)

Healthy life

I met with few healthy friends recently. They persuaded me to be healthier by eating the Nutrilite Double-X. According to the explanation from them, the Double-X consists of vitamin, mineral and phytonutrient which my body needs these a lot. I could feel that I was exhausted and weak at all times especially during sports. Oh, I’m now PHYSICALLY OLD! Moreover, a loyal friend named gastric never leave me since I was in secondary school. The only thing I can do is to get the gastric pills to cure the pain. But now, I will try to have a proper meal everyday. Besides that, I will always remind myself not to be lazy to go for sports and must remember to eat the Double-X. I'm now on the way to a healthy life. I wish that I can continue to stay healthy so that I can proceed on my days better! Erm, and of course, I wanna be pretty :) LOL...

Sometimes we would think that we are lonely when we are alone. This is an emotional feeling which we, the human beings couldn’t escape from it. However, we shouldn’t allow this negative thinking to control our mind which this will bring unhappiness to us.

Few days ago, my sister and I saw a cat. I’ve taken a picture on it and surprisingly the cat knew how to focus on the camera. Well, that picture wasn’t that bad although I used my phone camera to take it. LOL…

From the eyes of the cat, it reminded me on how to focus. I used to be blurring all the time because I never focus! After the gospel camp, I told myself to focus on Him more because I want to know Him better. And now, I feel greater and greater each day because I’m learning how to focus on Him. With a faithful heart, with His strength and power, there is no need for me to worry. I thank Him for being by my side and He was the one who had made me escape from the loneliness. I love You!

Deep Dry Well

I had been hiding myself in a deep dry well. Thus, I want to make a change. I want to climb out from the well.

The MYF Gospel Camp was awesome and overwhelming. The camp site was enchanting and beautiful. The owner and family were friendly. However, the most impressive was the 4 theme talks. God answered my questions through Pastor Teng. At this particular time, I feel better. Indeed, He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

During the camp, a sudden feeling had struggled against me. On the third night, I was sitting under the moon, playing with dog, and trying to ponder about it. I have to thank Him for sending an angel to me that night. Because of him, I could be able to sleep tight. In this camp, I experienced God's love through fellowship. It was great when brothers and sisters in Christ can gather together to praise and worship Him.

I know that I shouldn’t be anxious so much because He had pre-planned my life. He knew me before He formed me in my mother’s womb. I'm now climbing out from the deep dry well. I don't know how long I need to spend. However, I will commit my life unto His hand. I pray that He will continue to mold me and change me so that I can serve and honor Him in more ways :)

Dreams

I used to be silly to believe that the fairytales do exist in the real life. All these fairytales have been enthralling me in my childhood because those stories misled me to believe that my dreams will be true. However, there will be no more fairytales in my life. They should stay in my childhood forever because it is a fact that it will never exist in the actual life.

I had the same dream these few nights. In the dream, everything was beautiful and it is what I hope and want in the real life. However, I woke up with tears this morning because I know that the dream will never be true. It was around 6am. I felt uncomfortable. I was struggling with my dream. Somehow, I fell asleep unconsciously. After 2 hours, alarm woke me up and within that 2 hours, I had the same dream again. My dream influenced my mood for the entire day. Shopping with family should be exited for girls but the dream screwed up my shopping day. Fortunately, there were something made me happy before the end of the day :)

God's creation made me smile.

The sunlight was awesome and amazing.

Furthermore, my dad made me laugh too. Hehehehe...

I wish that I can be able to sleep tight later. I hope that I will not dream the same dream again. Good night to myself....

I’m listening to a beautiful piano song called “Kiss the Rain” . Repeat and repeat. Loop non-stop. I’m wondering why my tears drop while listening to this song.

During these 4 years in MMU, stories of mine couldn’t be counted with my fingers and toes. There were numerous people I met during my uni life. There were countless things I’ve done with them. They were crazy, marvelous and wonderful to me. I made most of them laugh but I made some of them cry. The only thing I can keep forever is the memory.

Today will be the last day for me to stay in C1-9-9 officially. I will miss my messy but cozy room. Indeed, I had been staying here for 2 years! Unforgettable, I will miss my house-mates for sure especially Drew. His laughters will always be kept in my mind forever :)

Going into a new phase of my life really need a lot of courage. People around me said that I'm childish, stupid and blur. Even my mom said the same thing.Therefore, this shall be the turning point for me to be mature. Thank God for His guidance throughout the 4 years and I pray that I can pass all my papers and be able to graduate this year. Hopefully eventually my uni life will be ended beautifully. Last but not least, I will miss everything and everyone here. さよなら~~

I just finished my Japanese Level 2 paper. Hereby, I would like to declare ‘dead’ for this paper cause I couldn’t get to finish all the questions. Haiz, I hate Japanese language!! However, I have to prepare my heart for sitting the special exam (supplementary exam) for this subject. Hmm... What if I fail my special exam? What if I need to extend my degree studies? Oh no, I don't want!! I wanna graduate!! No study mood during examination period is the most awful thing for me. What’s wrong with me??!! I still got one more paper to go!! Study mood, pls "on"...

Today I woke up at 12pm and found that no one at home. That means no one can accompany me for lunch. Nonetheless, I have to thank my grandma for her loves. I was so happy when I received her call this afternoon for asking me to go her house. She said I had been coughing for over one month and therefore she prepared the bird nest soup for me. So, I had the bird nest soup for my lunch. Yummy ~~

After lunch, I played with Xiao Bai. Xiao Bai couldn’t recognize me and kept barking at me. So sad… I fed him milk when he was a puppy last time!!! Anyway, he is still cute.

5 o'clock in the afternoon, I finally saw my dad for today and the first thing he talked to me was about my car. Papa sent the car to the workshop this morning. He asked me not to drive my Ford car because it is dangerous. Thus, I have to use the other car from now onwards. Haiz… How come my Ford car can become weaker and weaker? I think it’s the time for ‘him’ to rest.

Right now, I have to go my grandma’s house for dinner. Grandma said got chicken soup for me. Hehehe… However, after the happy meal, I need to burn the midnight oil again. Exam is around the corner and I got 7 subjects to study! がんばってください。さようなら。

Yesterday went mamak and I found that there are actually a lot of awesome things around me and all these things created by God. The moonlight was so beautiful. This is the lesser light made by God on the 4th day of the beginning of this world to govern the night. When the wind was blowing tenderly against my face while I was eating the eggs, once again I can feel the God’s creation.

This morning when I woke up, I saw the sunlight shining through the window. The sunlight is the greater light made by God to govern the day. Whenever I see the sunlight, I know that it’s another new morning for me.

I found that observing the things around me which I never pay attention is amazingly enjoyable. How wonderful if we see things out of the box. We should expand our sight which this can absolutely help us to observe in a better way.
